At Ascot Stud we take pride in our mares as they are all daughters of world renowned sires such as Strinesdale Matador (UK), Keston Royal Occasion (Imp UK - Dec), Rotherwood Acrobat (Imp UK), Sir Percy of Paxhall (Imp UK - Dec), Downland Chevalier (UK) to name a few. Our show ponies combine beauty with performance, not easily found in today's ponies. A competitive pony or horse needs a willing, kind & happy attitude towards the world of competition. This is why we have tried and tested performance bred mares and stallions as today's demanding show circuit requires. We believe that neither mare nor stallion should be bred from if they have little to give to their owner and rider. There is no satisfaction in aiming to breed only second best. |
